Heal yourself. Empower others.
Transform communities.

MEND walks with women who have been marginalized and oppressed, denied education, their rights, and their roles, as they identify their strengths, discover their potential, and give their gifts back to the very communities that once hindered them.

Our
Mission

MEND exists to transform our community by empowering women who have been pushed to its margins by societal stigma.

Mentorship that transforms

Through mentorship, each woman is supported to identify her strengths, discover her potential, and share them where they are needed most.

Support where it's needed

Our work extends to disabled women, women seeking housing for substance abuse recovery, and those pursuing job placement and coaching.

Growth that sustains

Adult education helps women in rural and urban areas cultivate growth through farming arts, carving, weaving, preserving trees, and building sustainable ecosystems.

MEND is more than our name; it is the shape of the journey.

Mentorship

Guidance, wisdom, and connection from women who have walked this road.

Empowerment

Strength, confidence, and a voice that is fully your own.

Nurture

Self-care, healing, and support. You cannot pour from an empty cup.
